The Greenhouse Project will host annual fundraiser at Cucina Lupo Jan. 4 with 'Maskuraid Ball'

In these different times, The Greenhouse Project will host the annual Celebrity Chef Dinner as a 'MaskurAid Ball' on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 at Cucina Lupo in Carson city due to a last minute glitch at the Governor's Mansion. Thank you Mark Estee and team for providing this venue on such short notice. There are only six tickets left!

The Chefs of the evening will be Josh and Whitney Deri of Blend Catering with input as always from Charlie Abowd of Charlie's Table. Their magic will include a multicourse wine or beer paired dinner.

A glimpse of the menu will include a First Course of Wild Mushroom and taleggio cheese tart; second Course of Swordfish belly, Italian salsa verde, Castelvetrano olives, warm Rancho Gordo beans and Prema Farms lettuces; Third Course of pressed beef oxtail and short ribs, heirloom polenta, Calabrian chiles, crispy pecorino Romano, aged balsamic and winter greens; Fourth Course of fresh doughnuts, citrus curd, charred orange, candied kumquat and pistachio.

The evening will also include a silent auction and raffle that will be virtually accessed prior to the event. A prize will be given for the best MASK of the evening AS FUN MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Costumes are optional but welcome. We also have a $5,000 Angel Donor whose donation will be matched online and then in the room that night.

A seat at the table is $250/person and a limited number are available as all social distancing and capacity requirements are being followed.Thank you to our generous course sponsors: Vidler Water, Mark Amodei, Lone Mountain Veterinary, Carson Tahoe Health, Aspire Capital Advisors, and Farmers Insurance.
